Welcome
Station 45 - home of Anderson Cleary, the youngest Chief in the history of Cascade. This man gave his all for the station. He brought it back from the brink of closure as a Captain. He remodeled the building, made sure that everything out of date was improved and replaced. However, the station soon came upon turmoil as it was torn in half by the actions of two men. Even after all the close calls he had gone through, nothing could take him away from his beloved station and job. That was until his life was taken in the performance of his duties. It left the station in shock of losing their leader and friend.

As they gave the highly decorated hero his final ride on the truck and laid him to rest, a new threat came to Station 45 and the two others in the city. A pyromaniac was about to make his mark on the city and give this station a new threat to face without their leader. This wasn't their only problem. The actions of two men a few weeks before Anderson's death left the station torn. Five crew members and a Captain was replaced and left a gap in the personnel. Now this burden rests upon the shoulders of a new Chief and old friend to Anderson - Gavin O'Leary.

OOC & Posting Rules

MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE MATURE CONTENT. PARENTAL APPROVAL RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE UNDER 16

1.) Try to get along. ;)

2.) Almost any post length is acceptable, as long as you use good grammar and spelling skills. An admin will inform you if your post is unacceptable. No less than four lines.

3.) Attendance/Leave of Absence- This is vital to the site... In order to keep things running smooth and keep the site active we ask that you let us know when you are going to be gone for a while. Every two months a check will be done to see who is still active. If you do not respond to these checks, you will be deleted. To avoid this, let us know when you are going to be gone. In the game, you should have you character ask for a leave of absence a week ahead if you are going to be gone. Also this will put your team on stand down until you get back.

4.) Keep you're mouths clean OOC. And no racially discriminative (or ANYTHING discriminate) crap, thank you very much.

5.) Don't annoy the admins. They work hard :( You are perfectly entitled to disagree with them, but do it nicely. Or we bite (especially Courtney).

6.) There is no character limit for the site as long as your active.

7.) Realism. Try to keep things realistic. Cars, houses, and everything cost money. If you have a character that doesn't make a lot of money they won't be able to afford $300,000 cars and expensive dinners every night.

IC Rules and Character Guidelines

1.) No aliens or superhumans

2.) Oh, and your character can’t be perfect. Sorry :P

3.) If you are involved in an important plot or something and go in active, we'll play your character to either complete the plot or kill it.

4.) Keep personal rivalries out of the site.

5.) Powerplaying/Godmoding*** is not accepted on this site at all. You will be warned if you slip up but just make sure you don't. ;)

6) Timeframes- please keep things as real as can be. Lets say if the gate is five miles from the town, it will take longer than two hours to walk that far.

Powerplaying/Godmoding

Posting actions for a character that belongs to another player without their direct permission to do so is powerplaying, and it is not allowed on this board. A few examples of powerplaying include being invincible and all powerful (having every spell/punch aimed at you miss and every one of your spells/punches hit the other person without their consent), your character knowing things IC that you know OOC . And otherwise saying another person’s character did something without permission from the player. If you have an issue with another player doing this to you, please contact an admin and we’ll help you sort it out.

First Instance: Warning by an Admin
Second Instance: 1 week banned (no playing on the site.)
Third Instance: 2 weeks banned
Fourth Instance: Banned Permanently
